I Love My City - Dallas, TX

I love Annie & Elizabeth - which is crazy because I've never met them. They are absolutely adorable and I know that if when we meet we'll bond instantly over our love for shoes and cheese. I have never been to Texas but these girls are here to clear up a few rumors...
Hi, it's Annie & Elizabeth from The NOW and we are so excited and honored to be guest blogging for Simply Irresistible. We absolutely LOVE Lara and her blog and were very happy about the fact that we get to talk about our beloved hometown, Dallas. We are so proud of The Big D and are thrilled to clear up some things about the city. Dallas and it's dwellers have a reputation for being tacky, closed minded and while some of the population might be like that, the majority of the people are not! There have been a couple of reality shows on lately trying to play up to this image that we all have big hair, big jewelry, have a wardrobe strictly consisting of cowboy hats, boots and jeans and have horses and cows in our backyards which has been more insulting than amusing. Dallas has so much more to offer so let's get down to it. Here are just a few of the many things we love about our city! Thanks again, Lara, for letting us be a part of this amazing series!!

Rumors dispelled. Dallas looks amazing! I did a little Google search on Grange Hall and I think it's a place I could easily spend my life savings in.

So excited to share more city love next week. This series is making me want to move... or just travel A LOT.

Also, check out and enter my giveaway for a one cup coffee/latte/tea maker here! I have one and it's THE BEST!

  2. I love Annie and Elisabeth's list! Know the feeling of misunderstood city (growing up in Atlanta and then having The Real Housewives of ATL- embarrassment) Dallas is such a gorgeous city though and this just reminded me why! :)
