a wedding detail.

I haven't shared any wedding details in a while (likely because all the big things have been decided so I'm out of fun things to share). It's crazy that our wedding is only five months away. I know that after New Years, things are going to fly by (which frightens me a little... cue the anxiety/stress).

Anyway... I stumbled across this dress last week and thought it would make the perfect rehearsal dinner dress. Our rehearsal dinner is going to be at yt's parent's house (picture: tent in the yard, lots of flowers, lots of candles, intimate), but I'm having trouble deciding on shoes.

1, 2 (sale!), 3, 4

Which is your favorite? I need help deciding.
I love the simple nude.. but wow are those pink ones fun!

  1. Love the open-toe nude! While the pink is fun, I think you could go with nude and wear a fun, chunky gold necklace. Unless you find an open-toe pink pump...I may be swayed to choose that one.

  3. Definitely go nude! Very chic + sophisticated and you will get so much wear out of them!

  4. The nude is classic and pretty and if you don't have nude shoes you'll be happy you do, I get so much use out of mine. But... my totally irrational self really wants you to do the bright pink snakeskin. Such an awesome texture and color with that amazing dress!

  6. i'm voting for the nude because they make your legs look super long and they won't take anything away from that beautiful dress! (p.s. didn't know you were getting married! congrats lara!!!)

  8. I agree with most people -- go with nude. Although a touch of pink is ALWAYS a good idea. xo

  11. Love the dress! I'd vote for the nude with the fun colors of the dress ~ and afterall, there is something very classy about both the shoes and the occasion :)

  12. As much as I love both hot pumps, I'd go with the nude peep toes. Both the glitter and the pink would compete too much with that stunning dress. Plus as the other ladies have already mentioned, you'll definitely get more use out of the nude ones!

  13. I think the nude pair would look the most elegant, and that's probably what I would wear, but I am obsessed with Brian Atwood, so I like #1 as well.

  16. nude, nude, nude. you dont want your shoes to compete with that gorgeous dress, which should be the center of attention. the other shoes, although all very beautiful, would make the outfit look too busy. the nude goes with the occasion, and like everyone else has already said, you can get tons of wear out of them!

  17. The nude ones are fabulous BUT go with #3! They are FABULOUS! However all of them are beautiful shoes & any would go great with that dress!

  19. Go Pink #4!! Pink #1 is too much of a pattern like the dress. Why nude? Just don't get it. You can wear nude the rest of your life with cocktail dresses, but when else in your life can you be the stunning bride. Complete that dress with the best!!
