I usually blog about trends that I'm in love with - clothing I'm lusting over and accessories I cannot get out of my head. Today, I have a trend I'm not entirely sure how I feel about - straw. I'm definitely digging the pops of color in the below collection. I love the way this material screams summer. And, while I think this look pairs well with shorts and a tee - it could also accompany a more dressed up look. With that being said, I'm not really sure I'm sold... I may need a bit more convincing that this is a look I can pull off...
what are your thoughts? yay or nay?
I feel like straw has been in then out for years, crazy! I like the trend, I think that on occasions it's a fun one to pull out. I have a bag that I snagged years ago from Target that does the trick (but I love the Marc Jacobs bag!
ReplyDeleteYes you should do it. But make sure it isnt itchy or scratchy. My experience has been not so bueno when mixing alcohol + straw totes = blood and confusion. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI have straw from Target that I wear. I love it. It's in white so it goes with anything :) As for it being a purse, I think the straw needs to be super thin in order to look nice.
