snapshots.

the last few weeks have been the best. we've been settling into our new apartment (and married life), and starting our news jobs (me as an event coordinator and yt in his residency) and we've have down time - ohhhhh down time - how i've missed you.

i've had time to browse an antique market, make a trip to ikea, cook a bit, run a bit, meet up with friends for a drink and have date night - and it's all been lovely.

here are a few snapshots.

1 + 2 - as i've mentioned, i'm working as an event coordinator now! my two favorite parts of the job (it's hard to choose), are probably the freebie flowers and the people - wedding cake on a weekly basis is a close second :)

3 + 4 we've been working on our apartment!! a DIY jackson pollock, some anthropologie knobs, a trip to ikea and randolph street market are completing the look!

5 + 6 - a late night home made dessert :) pb chocolate chip cookies and our first dinner in the new apartment. a little grilled steak goes a long way!

7 + 8 - homemade pesto (mm mm pasta dinner) and a snacky kind of girls night!

i'm getting used to my new sunday/monday weekend ... it's not too shabby! i'm also making it official and changing my name today!! both are going to take a little bit of getting used to!

hope you all had a fabulous weekend.

do anything fun??
